Creation Museum and Ark Encounter at Christmas

1st Day: Join us for a tour of Biblical proportions! We’ll travel to northern Kentucky today and check into our home for the next three nights. Evening is free.

2nd Day: We’re in for an adventure today as we visit the Creation Museum. The state-of-the-art 75,000-square-foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. The museum allows for personal interaction with each of the 160 exhibits. Walk through the Garden of Eden. See the scaffolding, smell the freshly-cut timbers in the busy work site of Noah’s Ark. Dig up dinosaur bones or come face to face with T. Rex. Experience the Special Effects Theater, complete with rumbling seats and rising mists, which takes visitors on a fantastic quest to find the real purpose and meaning of life. There are also three spectacular gardens, a petting zoo, and more. You may also include the planetarium and zip lines for an additional fee. Later tonight we will return to the Creation Museum for the annual Christmas Town event. Enjoy the dazzling lights, see the live Nativity, and have fun as you learn more about this special time of the year. (CB)

3rd Day: Today we will experience a historically accurate, life-size Noah’s Ark. The Ark Encounter is a full-sized reconstruction of Noah’s Ark, making it the largest timber-frame structure in the world. Stretching more than 1.5 foot- ball fields in length, the sheer size of the Ark will amaze visitors. You will learn how Noah and his family could have fit and cared for the animals on the Ark. Other spectacular exhibits showcase what Noah and his world were like before the Flood, while others highlight the enormous impact the Flood has had on our world. The Ark Encounter is three exhibits in one—the massive Ark structure itself, the incredible craftsmanship, and the beautifully-fabricated teaching exhibits. The combination of all three will amaze and inspire you to think differently about the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. Later tonight we will return to take in the beauty of the lights that have been hung around the Ark Encounter grounds. Lights will line the pathways, illuminating the Ararat Ridge Zoo, and adding a beautiful touch to Emzara’s Kitchen. The lights truly transform the Ark experience during this time of the year. You can do some Christmas shopping for your friends and family inside the gift shop, or visit the tent with a large selection of unique handmade, homemade, and fair trade items. (CB)

4th Day: We’ll return home today with rest and meal stops en route. Arriving back approximately 7:00 PM. (CB)

Special Notice: Balance due 30 days prior to departure. Cancella- tion within 30 days of departure will result in payment forfeiture.
